Grade You Teach: First

Years at Concordia: This is my first year.

Why did you choose to become a teacher? I love working with children, and enjoy trying out new ideas and experiencing new things every day.

What attracted you to Concordia? I was interested in teaching in a Christian environment, and heard great things about the teachers and the families who attend Concordia.

Family and Outside Interests: I live in Peoria with my husband Chris, my daughter Ava and our dog, Buddy. I enjoy hanging out with them, my wonderful parents and my brothers, sister, and five nieces. In my spare time I scrapbook, paint, watch movies and shop with my mom and sister.

What makes Concordia unique? From the start, I have been impressed with the overall feeling of warmth and caring shared among the families, students and teachers at Concordia.

“Concordia is a wonderful place for students to grow not only academically but spiritually.”
