Educational Background: B.A. in Music from Thomas Edison State College, New Jersey, 2004

Family: My parents are both leaders in their own way. My mom has been an integral part of my academic and spiritual growth, and continues to motivate and support me. My dad is the most dependable and disciplined man I know, and enjoys seeing needs and finding creative ways to fill them. My sisters are also musicians, and we enjoy sharing God’s love with others through music.

Hobbies and Interests: I love to travel and meet new people. I am very interested in the Chinese culture, and spent a year teaching English in China. I am the piano accompanist for our church choir and song leader for the children’s ministry.

Teaching Philosophy: Music is the premise of my teaching but my primary goal is for my students to learn respect for doing something well, to work hard to achieve their goals, to take pride in their accomplishments and to be willing to share their music with others.

What Makes Concordia Unique: The students and staff at Concordia have an attitude that allows for and encourages a student to excel, and the parental support to make it happen. They offer more of an individualized approach to a student’s education in a God-oriented atmosphere. The music program is the best in the area.
