Family at Concordia: Two sons have graduated and two of our children still attend.

Why did you choose to become a teacher? I love watching the lightbulb go on when students learn something new.

What attracted you to Concordia? The ability to work our faith into all the things we talk about and learn in school. What an opportunity to help nourish the student’s love for Jesus!

Please tell us about your family. I am married to Pastor Joe, who is the Senior Pastor at Redeemer Lutheran Church. We have been married more than 20 years and have four children. We have lived in four different states while Joe has been a Pastor. We’ve lived in Peoria since June of 2008. We love the Peoria area.

Hobbies and Interests. I’m a sports fanatic. I love to watch football, baseball, golf, NCAA March Madness, the Olympics and even bowling. My favorite football team is the San Francisco 49ers and my favorite baseball team is the New York Yankees. I also enjoy working on scrapbooks for our family. I love to read and try to read for pleasure as much as possible.
