Library Guidelines

It is Concordia’s hope that you find the library to be an exciting, inviting, and comfortable place to be. With over 8000 fiction and non-fiction books, there is a book for everyone. Our library shelves can be easily searched from the comfort of your own home by going online to destiny.concordiapeoria.com. Our complete database allows our students to search for books by title, author, subject etc.

All students have one period a week when they formally visit the library. Books can be renewed as needed unless there is a waiting list for the item. Additionally, the library is open for students at 8:00 am each morning for students wishing to take AR quizzes. Just knock on the back library door and have your book handy or know the title of the quiz you will be taking.

Concordia is a part of Renaissance Learning’s Enterprise which means that students have available to them over 100,000 AR quizzes. The Accelerated Reader program provides progress monitoring and great reading improvement potential. Our school’s AR store offers a point/prize system that provides extra incentive to students toward more reading. Visit Renaissance Place to take your AR quizzes. Quizzes must be taken at school during school days but parents and students can visit the site from home to view student records and note student progress.
