Concordia Lutheran School has a rich heritage of providing students with access to quality music instruction. Children can begin to experience the joy of music in our Choral Program that starts with kindergarten and runs through eighth grade. We also have band and orchestra programs that have led to many award-winning performances by our students.

Studies show that after 6 months of music lessons, those children performed 34% higher on tests measuring spatial-temporal ability than others. In addition, music enhances children’s the reasoning skills needed for learning math and science. In fact, those who studied music four years or more scored 60 points higher on verbal and 41 points higher on the math section of the S.A.T.
