Concert Band is made up of players who are at least in their second year of playing their instruments. This group also comprises the Marching Band. Concert Band performs at the Christmas Concert in December and the Spring Concert in May, as well as events around the school and community such as pep rallies, church services, fundraisers and sporting events like the Rivermen and Chiefs. Members of this ensemble also compete in the IGSMA Solo/Ensemble contest each March.

Concert Band travels to Washington, DC, every four years. The next trip is scheduled for the Spring of 2011. Many students count this trip among one of their best Concordia memories.
