Thank you for your interest in Concordia Lutheran School. As you familiarize yourself with CLS, we are confident that you will discover our commitment to academic excellence within a Christ-centered community. Beyond the academics and extracurricular activities, Concordia is a place for students to build a firm foundation. It has been a blessing for many families and we pray it could be that for yours too! Below is a quick step by step look at the admissions process.
Important Dates for 2026-2027 School Year Enrollment
1/1/2026 – Priority Gradelink Re-Enrollment for current students & Enrollment for NEW Kindergarten students begins.
1/1/2026 – Variable Rate Tuition applications accepted for families currently receiving school-managed financial assistance.
2/1/2026 – New Student Enrollment is open for 1st – 8th grades.
2/1/2026 – Variable Rate Tuition applications accepted for families new to Concordia.
6/1/2026 – Gradelink Re-Enrollment, Tuition Agreement & ACH Due
7/1/2026 – Registration Payment Due
7/5/2026 or 7/20/2026 – First ACH payment
8/12/2026 – First Day of School
**New students wishing to enroll for the 2026-2027 school year must have all requirements completed within two weeks of the first day of school or enrollment will be delayed until second semester.
**IMPORTANT NOTICE: Students MAY NOT begin school without a paid registration and ALL forms completed.

Apply
Complete the application for enrollment by clicking Apply Now. Applications will be under review by the school’s admissions team.
You will complete the following information on the application:
- Student Information
- Student Education History – Records will be requested from the student’s previous school.
- Household Information
- Medical information
You will also see our Christian Code of Conduct and our Statement of Belief.
Note that a $100 non-refundable application fee is required and review of the application will not begin until this fee has been paid. If the student is accepted into our program the applicaiton fee will be applied to the registration fee.
Interview & Assessment
After the records from your previous school have been received and reviewed, our Admissions Director will contact you to set up a time for a family interview and student assessment.
Students are more successful when there is a strong school/family relationship. We want to encourage this partnership from the start with a meeting between new families and our Principal.
After the family interview, each student will complete an assessment in Reading & Math. All students in grades 3rd – 8th will also be asked to write a statement about their faith life.
The appointment will last 60-90 minutes.
Notification
You will be notified about acceptance after all the steps have been completed.

Probationary Period
Concordia Lutheran School reserves the right to reconsider the application/admission of any student during his/her first 90 days of attendance during any school year.

Illinois State Board of Education Requirements
The Illinois State Board of Education requires schools to maintain records for students that should include physical examinations, immunizations, and potentially records for students with chronic health conditions They also require schools to have current forms on Dental and Vision exams on file for each student. The following list indicates which years we need a new form in the office.

Kindergarten: Health/Immunization, Dental and Vision
2nd Grade: Health/Immunization, Dental
6th Grade: Health/Immunization, Dental
New Enrollees: New Vision exams are required upon entering Concordia, unless the student has one less than a year old.
Extra-Curricular Sports: Sports physicals are required each year in 5th through 8th grade for those who participate in extracurricular sports.
