Thank you for your interest in Concordia Lutheran School. Beyond the academics and extracurricular activities, Concordia is a place for students to build a firm foundation. Request a Shadow Day
A Shadow Day is not a requirement but another way to get to know Concordia better. A Shadow Day can be full-day or half-day
To schedule a shadow day please contact our Admissions Director.
Interviews & Assessments
Kindergarten – 8th Grade students & their family will meet with the principal.
Kindergarten – 2nd Grade students will have an informal observation when they meet the classroom teacher.
3rd – 8th Grade students will take a computerized Measure of Academic Progress (MAP) test, if needed.
- Copies of report cards, standardized testing results, any evaluations for academic or emotional assistance, and any other pertinent school information or records are not necessary at this point but are helpful tools. Items may be sent directly from the student’s previous school.
Enrollment
You may choose to register for enrollment by clicking Enroll Now or making an appointment with the front office at 309-691-8921 to complete the registration paperwork & pay the registration fee of $375.
Items to bring in
Whether you choose to register online or in person the following items are needed before the first day of attendance.
Birth Certificate
Medical form with immunizations (Other medical forms may be required as per state guidelines listed below.)
- Copies of report cards, standardized testing results, any evaluations for academic or emotional assistance, and any other pertinent school information or records. (May be sent directly from the student’s previous school)
Probationary Period
Concordia Lutheran School reserves the right to reconsider the application/admission of any student during his/her first 90 days of attendance during any school year.

Illinois State Board of Education Requirements
Kindergarten: Health/Immunization, Dental and Vision
2nd Grade: Dental
6th Grade: Health/Immunization, Dental and Vision
New Enrollees: New Vision exams are required upon entering Concordia, unless the student has one less than a year old.
Extra-Curricular Sports: Sports physicals are required each year in 5th through 8th grade for those who participate in extracurricular sports.
