Duties:  Subject area instruction, homeroom supervision, character education and student supervision during lunch, recess, and chapel.

Qualifications: Classroom teacher candidates must have, at a minimum, a bachelor’s degree in education (or have completed an approved alternate path for state licensure), have a current teaching license (Illinois licenses preferred). Priority consideration will be given to candidates that are synodically trained, members of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. Expectations include classroom instruction, participation in professional development opportunities, curriculum development, and various supervision duties.
