CLS provides opportunities for students throughout all grades to experience being a part of the theater. Research reveals the positive impact of drama on a student’s physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development. CLS rotates between grades 1-2 and 3-4 with a spring musical or operetta. Previous shows have included Nic at Night, Ei Ei…oops, Go Fish and In the Big Inning. Students in grades 7-8 are given the opportunity to help run lights and sound for these productions.
Students in 8th grade perform a short play each year. This performance is coached by our English & Literature teacher. Previous performance have included Black Boot’s Lost Loot and Pistols and Posies.
