CLASS ACTIVITIES
I am looking forward to returning to Kindergarten this year after being away from it for 15 years. The children will see how fun school can be through hands-on learning, independently, and in small and whole-groups.
MISSION STATEMENT
My mission is to provide a safe, Christ-centered learning community where each child can feel successful academically while continuing to grow in their faith.
WHY YOU WANTED TO BECOME A TEACHER
God called me to be a teacher before I actually knew that was what I wanted to be. I went to college with another major in mind and ended up graduating with a B.S in Education, later earning my Colloquy in Lutheran Ministry and a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction. The more I learn about teaching, the more excited I become about teaching. I especially enjoy working with children and watching their faces light up when they too, get excited about learning and see that learning is fun!
HOBBIES/INTERESTS
Spending time with my family and grandsons, traveling, shopping, and someday learning to golf.
